Flooding Mitigation
By 2050, the number of people at risk from floods will increase by a third, from 1.2 billion to 1.6 billion. Extreme flooding creates threats to life, untold billions in damage and lost productivity.
Whether it’s river, urban drainage or coastal related flooding, the need for cities and regional areas to understand and mitigate flood risk is a high priority for corporations, governments, and communities alike.
Our experts at RPS are working with organisations across the globe, to build a water resilient future. We support our clients across the world in planning, designing, and developing effective flooding solutions, in both small- and large-scale water infrastructure projects. Using our deep-water expertise, our asset management design, engineering and environmental science teams make it easy to for our clients to connect to the information, advice and actions they need to enhance flood resilience for the cities and communities they’re responsible for.
