Employee Assistance Programmes
Mental health problems are increasing among UK employees, and are a common cause of long-term and short-term sick leave.
Supporting our clients
Working in partnership with Vivup, RPS is offering an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which is designed to support your employees’ mental health, both inside and outside of the workplace.
This relationship will enable our clients to make time and cost savings through delivery of a combined solution providing an efficient and financial advantage.
The Thriving at Work Report estimates that around 15% of workers have symptoms of mental health conditions, with an annual cost of £33 - £42 billion in employee absence and turnover. Providing support for mental health will lead to a healthier workforce, benefitting employees and your organisation.
Counselling and online support services offer employee’s practical advice with issues that may be impacting their performance. Vivup’s clinical and operational leads are subject matter experts in the UK and sit on the board of The Employee Assistance Providers Association (EAPA), and The National Resilience and Trauma Expert Reference Group. They also contribute to research initiatives, such as The Institute of Employment Studies.
