Net Zero Carbon Corporate Services

As the climate emergency intensifies, we are all being called upon to step up, make the necessary changes and do what we can to secure a sustainable future. And businesses are no exception.

As stakeholders across the board, be they consumers, manufacturers, suppliers, investors and so on put more emphasis on the importance of green credentials, your sustainability strategy has never been more important.

Done correctly, a Net Zero Carbon strategy can deliver a wide range of benefits for your organisation. It can be a driver for efficiency and innovation leading to operational and value chain cost savings, it can open up new business opportunities and it can motivate your employees and engage your stakeholders.

Corporate, social reporting and management (CSR)

How a company discloses its sustainability matters and reports its actions and results is vital. Sharing details of your commitments and actions in a transparent and robust way leads to the building of trust, improved Environmental, Social and Governance ratings and consumer confidence, whereas poor or non-existent reporting can have negative effects and damage the brand.

We add value by focusing on:

  • Improving public perception and brand value through corporate sustainability reporting on social and environmental performance.

We add value by focusing on:

  • Improving public perception and brand value through corporate sustainability reporting on social and environmental performance.
  • Aligning with and submission to external benchmarks: Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), GRESB, FTSE4Good, EPRA and more
  • Developing credible sustainability related publications for inclusion on websites, social media, brochures, customer presentations, media responses and reports.

Science-based Target Development

Science-based targets (SBTs) provide a clearly defined pathway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they detail how much and how quickly a business can reduce its emissions. Setting SBTs facilitates a strategic long-term view to carbon reduction and can lead to innovative developments. It can lead to innovative developments, achieve cost-efficiencies, demonstrate credibility and enhance relationships with key stakeholders.

Tackling Scope 3 emissions

To become truly carbon neutral, Scope 3 emissions, which are indirect emissions released upstream and downstream in your value chain, need to be prioritised alongside Scope 1 and 2. But, including these emissions does come with some challenges and you may not have the in-house expertise to identify your scope 3 hotspots or which elements of your supply chain are the most carbon intensive.

Our experts can identify and measure your scope 3 emissions and advise on how to reduce them.

Nature-based solutions and offsetting

A successful sustainability strategy is tailored to your business, based on your individual circumstances and goals. Following the GHG Hierarchy, we help you to identify where emissions can be eliminated, avoided, reduced, or substituted for more energy efficient solutions. When all other options have been considered, we can advise on offsetting to mitigate against unavoidable emissions and this is where nature-based solutions come to the fore.
