Steven Hamilton
Metocean Technical Director, EAME
Steve has 15 years within the operational metocean industry ranging from servicing and maintenance of metocean buoys and systems to metocean project management for clients around the globe. Starting as an Oceanographic Engineer, Steve has undertaken numerous maintenance and calibration visits, including the deployment of metocean buoys in Europe and West Africa. Since moving into project management and operations, Steve has been leading technical teams in the development and delivery of real-time metocean systems and buoy-based measurement campaigns.
Steve builds on a firm understanding of oceanography along with a keen enthusiasm for new technology and delivery excellence. His experience includes working alongside a dedicated Innovation team developing metocean data, cloud-based processing and analysis packages, enabling real-time data from metocean buoys and systems to be integrated into a single solution.
