Senior Associate - Transport

Brendan is Chartered Engineer in the roads and transportation section. His role includes project manager on numerous DB schemes and lead technical reviewer on drainage and pavement design. He is also lead technical reviewer and adviser on all drainage and pavement designs carried out from our Galway office. He was the design team project manager for the bid process for HS2 (UK’s new high speed rail network). He has been a member of the design team for numerous design build motorway schemes and is also responsible for the design and supervision of various national route upgrades.

He was one of the lead designers for the M8/M73/M74 Network Improvement Scheme, the A9 Kincraig to Dalraddy Dualling Scheme in Scotland and the M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy PPP Scheme. His main responsibilities on these projects included drainage and attenuation, pollution control, pavement and safety barrier design. Brendan has also worked as lead civil designer on numerous infrastructure projects for both the education and healthcare sectors. Brendan has also spent time as resident engineer on both the M6 Galway to Ballinasloe PPP Scheme and the Caladh Mor Harbour project on Inis Meain.
