Tetra Tech RPS strengthens aviation capability in the UK with the appointment of Murray van der Poll

Murray is a Chartered Highways and Transportation professional with over 15 years’ experience in delivering major projects, airfield engineering and critical infrastructure across airside and landside environments. He has led design and construction programmes at scale and pace, including runway extensions, taxiway rehabilitation and specialist runway surfacing works. With a proven track record in logistics planning, phased infrastructure and maintenance delivery and supply‑chain coordination, Murray brings a deep understanding of operational constraints and client priorities at every development stage.

In his new role, Murray will work integrally with Tetra Tech’s multidisciplinary aviation teams across the UK and globally to provide high‑performance, sustainable design solutions that enable clients to balance construction costs, programme complexity, operational impact and environmental performance. Through strategic engagement and technical insight, Murray and our specialist aviation team will support clients to deliver transformative projects, from airport masterplans to airside and landside infrastructure and buildings that shape the way people move and connect.
