Brisbane planning specialist, Jeanine Stone, joins RPS
RPS has welcomed a well-known face to our ranks, with development industry expert, Jeanine Stone, joining our Brisbane planning team as a Technical Director.
Coming to RPS from a 15-year stint at Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) – most recently as Development Assessment Project Director – Jeanine brings years of experience shaping some of the state’s most important projects.
While greenfield Priority Development Areas (PDAs) have been her focus in recent times, Jeanine is no stranger to other development types, having contributed her expertise to transport integration, infill, and strategic policy as well as many other projects across roles in local and state government, and consulting.
RPS General Manager – Planning and Development (SEQ), Penny Cooper says Jeanine is a natural fit for RPS projects and clients in Brisbane.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Jeanine a number of times over the years. What has always shined through is her deep commitment to securing development outcomes that strike the right balance between community and commercial success.
“At RPS, that’s our goal too – to facilitate placemaking outcomes that are both desirable for people, and deliverable for developers. That’s why we’re excited to have had the right role available for Jeanine at a time when she was ready to take the next step in her career,” Penny adds.
And what will Jeanine’s next steps be now that she’s made the move to RPS? She’s excited to find out.
“RPS is such a well-known name in the industry, and the people behind the brand are highly respected. I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to the team and delivering great outcomes for RPS clients and their projects,” she said.
