Low carbon design
Simon is our Healthcare sector lead with over 30 years’ experience in the Building Services industry working within multi-disciplinary design teams on a variety of Healthcare projects.
His project role involves all stages from design development through to handover, ensuring that the design brief is developed and refined in a way that enables the engineering response to reflect accurately, the operational and maintenance requirements, whilst delivering the optimum healing environment.
On a site wide scale his role is to establish the energy strategies for the development using the results of in-depth analysis to provide an efficient and flexible solution which can meet the demands of the development once constructed, can achieve Net Zero Carbon, and is robust and flexible enough to allow for future changes to the hospital’s health care delivery
