Morag Wilson is a senior environmental project director with more than 20 years experience in building, directing and guiding high calibre, multi-disciplinary teams to execute a portfolio of successful large-scale, profiled public and private sector environmental projects across the UK and internationally.
She appoints, leads and orchestrates teams of technical specialists in EIA, ecology, marine ecology, air quality, noise, landscape and visual, cultural heritage, flood risk, health, waste and land use. She regularly outperforms client expectations, winning difficult permissions and adding value in onshore and offshore renewables and grid connections, built environment, rail, mining, flood defence, roads, water treatment, petrochemicals and oil & gas and other infrastructure sectors.
Morag has deep expertise in taking control of challenging developments—lifting quality, reducing costs, guiding and prioritising programme objectives to boost and consolidate stakeholder, statutory body and client/customer relationships. She develops appropriate, practical and cost-efficient mitigation measures and monitoring programs in consultation with multidisciplinary project teams of engineers, planners and contractors. Heads meetings to negotiate environmental and social conditions within consent approvals for projects, with project teams of planning, legal, engineering and environmental specialists.
