Director - Galway Office and Digital
Mark is Director for BIM with over twenty years’ experience of large infrastructural projects at all stages. He is an industry leader in BIM and has given many lectures and seminars in Ireland and the UK on BIM processes. Mark is currently managing BIM delivery of major roads, water, pharmaceutical, healthcare and education projects. He was project director for an innovative Building Information Modelling (BIM) approach on the M8 motorway improvements scheme in Scotland, with project partners Ferrovial Agromam AMEY and BIM director on several other road schemes in the UK (including the A684 Bedale in Leeds and the A9 Dualling in Scotland). Mark recently completed work on an intensive 4-month tender for High Speed 2 Main Works Civils Contracts DB (€750m), on behalf of a contractor client.
He is a Fellow Member of the BRE Academy and responsible for achieving BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification for RPS from BRE in 2015 and the new ISO 19650 Certification in 2019. Mark is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Building and Civil Engineering at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and a member of the Academic Programme Board for the Higher Diploma in Engineering in BIM.
