
Alexandra has over 18 years’ experience in the renewables sector. She has worked on a range of onshore and offshore renewable energy projects across the development and post-consent phases and has experience of working under various consenting regimes within the UK and Ireland. Alexandra is part of the Tetra Tech RPS Energy Marine Consenting & Environment senior leadership team, supporting the management of a team of around 80 people.
Alexandra was the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Project Director for bp and EnBW’s Morgan Generation Assets during the pre-application and Examination phases of the Development Consent Order (DCO) process. She was a member of our client Core Team during the Examination phase and attended and participated in hearings. She was also the lead EIA manager during the Scoping phase for both the Morgan Generation Assets and Mona Offshore Wind Project.
Alexandra’s previous experience includes leading our team in delivering two offshore wind EIAs in Ireland, preparing a number of environmental assessments for offshore wind DCO and Marine Licensing projects across the UK as a topic author, and consent compliance experience spanning the pre-construction, post-construction and operational phases.
As part of her role on offshore wind projects both pre-consent and post-consent, Alexandra has participated in training provision to client consents and/or engineering/operational teams. This has included leading workshops on the Project Design Envelope (PDE) concept and delivering environmental/consents awareness briefings.
Alexandra has also managed numerous Marine Licence applications and supported environmental assessments under English, Welsh and Scottish marine licensing regimes.
