Over the past 15 years’ I've gained experience in all facets of the application of numerical models for studying water movement, water quality and pollutant transport in estuarine, coastal and ocean environments.
My projects have contributed to Environmental Impact Assessments for many major studies internationally including: coastal/marine processes, dredging, oil spills, offshore operational discharges, deep sea mining activities, water quality management, hyper-saline discharges, cooling water discharges, and drill cuttings and muds dispersion.
I have 8 years’ experience as a duty officer for the RPS Emergency Response Modelling Service. During this time I've been called out to respond to various situations including oil spills, chemical spills, and search and rescue/recovery.
Through my time as a consultant I have applied a variety of numerical modelling suits to numerous locations around the world, including creating a seem-less global tidal model which is used by the Australian Defence Force and countless government agencies for search and rescue.
I have applied my knowledge and skills to several industries, such as oil and gas, offshore wind, renewable energy (waves and tidal), ports and harbours, and deep-sea mining.
