RPS was engaged by TasNetworks to design, deliver and report on two online workshops as part of its emPOWERing Farms project.
TasNetworks decided to employ a digital engagement approach to engage with their customers and retailers, in order to build on the important work it had already undertaken on the emPOWERing Farms Project. TasNetworks was keen to maintain project momentum despite the limitations that COVID-19 restrictions imposed on community and stakeholder engagement activities.
RPS designed and facilitated two online ideation workshops with farmers, retailers, and other industry representatives. The online workshops were conducted using Zoom, with the main objective being to work with participants to identify potential solutions to issues and assess whether the solutions comply with criteria. RPS developed an outcomes summary document which highlighted the key issues and solutions that were discussed in both workshops. Â
Participants gave feedback that they found the sessions engaging and informative, and that RPS’ role as an independent facilitator helped them feel that they were able to have a say in a safe environment.Â
