Remotely Piloted Aircraft aerial survey
Aerial surveying using a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) is an accurate, cost-effective and safe solution for mapping, aerial photography, site inspections and real-time surveillance of built and natural assets.
Efficient and reliable
RPAs, also referred to as drones, provide a highly efficient way of collecting spatial data about built and natural assets.
Our RPA pilots are experts in the aerial surveying field and can design an aerial capture solution to meet your unique needs. We have a fleet of RPAs available Australia-wide, equipped with aerial surveying solutions including high resolution RGB sensors, and thermal and LiDAR modules. This breadth of technology enables our aerial surveying team to use the best capture method for your project while onsite.
Once the relevant data sets have been collected, our team can produce a wide-range of options to help you fully understand your environment, including digital terrain models, point clouds, thermal and multi-spectral imagery, and 3D models of buildings and structures. All aerial data is checked using our established quality control procedures to ensure the data is of the highest standard.
Safety first
Our pilots are fully trained and licenced under Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations. We are committed to safety and accuracy, and RPS is fully-insured and licenced to operate under the auspices of a CASA Operator Certificate (CASA.ReOC.0509).
Benefits of RPA
Accurate, cost-effective and safe method for capturing spatial information
Ideal for monitoring land stability and subsidence
Capture can be completed with no disruption to your regular operations
Fixed wing and multi-rotor options available.
