Our path to net zero
A low carbon, sustainable future, is a global priority. RPS understands the complexity and how to solve it. Working with our clients to support their journeys to Net Zero, we deliver market-leading Net Zero, carbon management and sustainability services.
RPS has already set an ambitious science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target that is aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement and consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Using a verified science-based target, and 2019 as a baseline, RPS will make a circa 46% reduction in emissions across its value chain over the next nine years to 2030 and a 63% reduction by 2034.
RPS recognises that we must be on our own pathway to Net Zero. We are proud to join other businesses and transition towards Net Zero ahead of 2050. While science and thinking on the path to Net Zero is continually evolving, we are setting a bold aim to have transitioned strongly towards Net Zero across our value chain by 2030.
