RPS has signed the Commonwealth’s Veterans’ Employment Commitment – becoming an official supporter of the Prime Minister’s Veterans’ Employment Program.
Executive General Manager and RPS’ executive sponsor for veteran welfare and wellbeing, Geoff de Jongh, said it’s an important declaration of RPS’ ongoing commitment to veterans and their families.
“RPS has a long history with veterans and the Australian Defence Force. We work with the Department of Defence and many ex-Defence personnel have become part of the RPS family following their time in the military.”
By signing the Veterans’ Employment Commitment, RPS joins more than 1,500 organisations that are recognising the skills and experience of veterans and improving their employment opportunities and outcomes.
RPS is now also listed on the Australian Government’s website as a veteran-friendly employer.
Geoff said the declaration forms part of a broader veteran support program at RPS.
“We have long-standing social partnerships with Legacy and Soldier On.
“It’s an honour to partner with these incredible organisations to support them and the vital work they do for veterans and their families.”
