Chris has over ten years of experience as an oceanographer. He is responsible for project management of large scale oceanographic measurement campaigns, operations and maintenance, data analysis, and technical report preparation. His background in ocean engineering and oceanography enables him to devise innovative solutions to data collection objectives. Chris also has extensive knowledge and experience in field operations concerning the safe deployment and recovery of oceanographic systems in coastal and open ocean environments, having delivered successful field projects in very tough environments and harsh climate regions. His attention to detail has resulted in improvements to data quality processes and documentation, and field operations procedures. Chris oversees the successful implementation of project-specific health and safety programs during project execution, including the training of employees in company safety policies and procedures.
