Livingston Regional Water Supply System Expansion
RPS completed preliminary engineering, final design, bid-phase and construction-phase services for expansion of the Trinity River Authority Livingston Water Supply System on Lake Livingston. The project included a raw water intake in Lake Livingston, a raw water pump station and approximately 5,000 linear feet of raw water transmission line. The 5 MGD plant expansion included a new raw water metering and flash mix structure, a new SUPERPULSATOR clarifier, conversion of two existing solids contact clarifiers to SUPERPULSATOR clarifiers, complete replacement of all chemical feed systems, new dual media filters with air scour backwash, new backwash pumping facilities, replacement of the 480-volt distribution system in the plant and addition of standby generators.
