Challenge
This complex project required multiple planning and listed building applications and assistance with the discharge of conditions during the various phases of the work in response to the evolving dynamic of the project. Our involvement required close collaboration with the architect and the LPA’s conservation officer during the implementation stage.
Solution
Our team provided built heritage services to ensure the Grade II* listed building was sensitively modernized throughout, including all the guest rooms and public areas. All the key facilities and services were upgraded alongside the reinstatement or restoration of many original features as part of a thorough re-branding by the new hotel operator.
