The City of London, also known as the Square Mile, is known as the leading driver of not only the London economy, but the national economy, contributing approximately 14% of London’s GDP and 3.1% of the UK’s GDP. It's also home to approximately 9,000 residents, a centre of learning for over 29,000 students, and hosts approximately 8.8 million visitors per year.
