Amy is a technical manager with over ten years’ of experience in the UK water industry. She joined RPS in 2012, following her PhD at Warwick University on pollutant dispersion in sewer networks, and her first-class Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with French from the University of Sheffield. Amy has worked on strategic planning, hydraulic modelling, and water quality-driven projects for water companies throughout the UK.
She co-leads RPS’s Water Research Group and has recently been involved in the FloodCitiSense and UpStream projects, working collaboratively with researchers, industry and (importantly) citizens to deliver innovative solutions to pressing environmental issues.
As a chartered member of CIWEM and mentor, Amy supports the professional development of our staff at RPS. She’s undertaking a data science and programming course in her own time.
