The last few months have brought many awards to RPS in the water industry, with more than a few successes, most notably UK Water Consultancy of the Year from industry publishers Faversham House Group.
Faversham House Group –publishers of Sustainable Business, Water & Wastewater Treatment (W&WT) News, Water and Effluent Treatment (WET) News and the environmental data information exchange facility EDIE, recently recognized RPS’ services as RPS won one of two awards for UK Water Consultancy of the Year 2010 at their recent Consultancy Awards, part of the Environmental Awards for Environmental Excellence. Awards were chosen through a third party administered poll.
The award was received by Douglas Lamont, RPS Business Information Manager, at the black-tie event which took place at the Hurlingham Club, London. RPS was shortlisted for five of the sector awards in total including: Water, Due Diligence, Waste & Recycling, Environmental Impact Assessment &, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Contaminated Land.
Luke Walsh, deputy editor of edie.net, and host of the awards, said: “Congratulations to RPS for winning the ‘Water Consultancy of the Year 2010’ award and for being shortlisted in five out of this year’s award categories. This shows the high regard their customers and their peers hold them in.”
This follows on from great success at this year’s Water Industry Achievement Awards where RPS received the award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to the Water Industry, and Most Innovative New Technology for the RPS/Dwr Cymru developed flow-measurement device Accuflow™.
