RPS will deliver landscape architecture and public realm design for Brisbane Racing Club’s AU$850 million Eagle Farm Residential Precinct.
RPS will work with Mirvac, selected as Brisbane Racing Club’s preferred partner to deliver the city’s largest urban regeneration project.
The ten-year project forms part of the Eagle Farm Master Plan and will involve delivery of over 1,200 trackside apartments in eight buildings, alongside food and beverage and retail facilities.
RPS Landscape Architecture Regional Technical Director Andrew Green said his team’s focus was on creating the highest quality environment for this iconic Brisbane location.
“This is an established area of Brisbane with a very rich history, and the landscape will respond to that,” he said.
“It will be truly distinctive and very accessible to the community, with well-designed parks, open spaces and play areas.
“The precinct will be influenced by the surrounding streetscape character of Hendra and Ascot, with lush, inviting streets within a vibrant subtropical landscape.”
