Tetra Tech RPS Energy celebrates impressive safety record
Our teams have reached two significant milestones, demonstrating our commitment to safe working practices.
Tetra Tech RPS Energy is an offshore energy specialist business. Our projects can involve working in complex environments, where robust safety practices are essential. Safety is also a top priority for our clients: we demonstrate effective Health and Safety management in support of contract agreements and in fostering successful partnerships. Despite conducting more in-field offshore work than in previous years, we have improved on an already outstanding safety record.
No reportable injuries in 18 months
We are pleased to announce that Tetra Tech RPS Energy has reached the milestone of “no reportable injuries” for the last 18 months, as of 1 June 2025, maintaining a Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) of zero per million hours worked.
The term ‘reportable’ refers to the requirement for internal or external regulatory bodies to be formally notified of certain types of safety incidents, if they meet specific thresholds. Our practices are aligned with international standards for safety incident reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
ISO certification
Tetra Tech RPS Energy is externally certified to international standards ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System). We have recently completed a recertification process with DNV, which involved thorough external audits, and have achieved certificates of conformity for the next three years.
Nele Mecioniene, HSSEQ Manager, Tetra Tech RPS Energy, says:
“Our company places a high value on maintaining an excellent safety record. I would like to thank all of our teams for their dedication to Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environment. During the audit process, they demonstrated collaboration, adaptability and resilience. We are very proud of reaching these safety milestones, which are the result of hard work and commitment, company-wide.”
Within the company, our commitment extends to employee wellbeing. In our most recent Employee Survey in 2024, 84% of staff agreed with the statement “Tetra Tech RPS Energy takes Health, Safety & Wellbeing seriously”, with 13% neutral.
