We’re delighted to announce that Jonathan Stewart has joined our UK Landscape Team as Associate Director - Urban Design.
Jonathan is a chartered Urban Designer bringing over fourteen years’ experience in urban design and masterplanning. He has significant experience across a comprehensive range of projects types and scales including strategic land promotion, residential, commercial, mixed use and public realm developments.
In his new role, Jonathan will be providing an urban design and masterplanning service to complement the existing specialisms at RPS and will be working closely with the various planning offices across the company. Working across the UK, Jonathan will advise on all urban design, masterplanning and placemaking matters associated with strategic land promotions, the preparation of planning applications, pre-application enquiries and site appraisals.
“I am really excited about the opportunity to join RPS and establish an Urban Design service for the Consulting UK & Ireland business that will hopefully grow and flourish in the near future,” says Jonathan.
“RPS is a global organisation and is involved in an exciting range of projects which I am looking forward to getting involved with and adding value. RPS offers a number of specialist services and to be able to help bring them together through masterplanning and Urban Design is a challenge I am very much looking forward to.”
Craig Thomson, Operational Director – Landscape, says "Jonathan joins the team at an exciting time as we look to develop our masterplanning and urban design capabilities and I look forward to working with him to develop this area of the business."
