RPS tackles infrastructure challenges with new advisory offering
05 August 2019 | 1 min read
Today marks a significant milestone for RPS, with the official launch of the company’s new-look advisory offering in Australia Asia Pacific.
With a focus on major infrastructure, RPS’ advisory team offers market-leading expertise in project strategy, investment, economics, communications, creative services, transaction advisory and more.
The launch follows the acquisition of advisory firms Manidis Roberts (2012), Everything Infrastructure Group (2015), Straight Talk (2018) and Corview (2019) under a $95 million expansion of RPS in the Asia-Pacific region. The launch also marks the completion of specialist infrastructure consulting firm Corview’s integration into RPS, with all consultants to offer services under the RPS name and brand from today.
“As we welcomed Corview into our business earlier this year, we took the opportunity to look at the market, talk to our clients and redefine our offering to be more comprehensive and integrated than ever before,” said RPS Chief Executive for Australia Asia Pacific, Ross Thompson.
“Delivering infrastructure is a complex enterprise but engaging with the best consultants shouldn’t be. We’ve brought the industry’s leading minds together around a common purpose – to shape transformational projects that enhance productivity, liveability and sustainability.”
RPS’ 150-strong advisory team is engaged on the region’s most high-profile initiatives from the Melbourne Airport Link in Victoria to Cross River Rail in Queensland and the Sydney Metro in New South Wales. Together, they are helping clients to navigate the complexities of infrastructure project investigation, planning, procurement and delivery.
“Not only do we offer one of the most comprehensive advisory offerings in the market, we up the value for clients by combining these strategic capabilities with technical expertise from our broader team of design and development, environmental services and project management specialists,” Mr Thompson said.
“Today’s launch is a reaffirmation of our fundamental purpose as an organisation - to use deep expertise to solve problems that matter for our clients. Infrastructure matters to cities and communities in Australia and Asia Pacific and we’re committed to helping them achieve positive outcomes.
“From metro projects to social housing, hospitals and highways, RPS is here to enhance the value of our communities’ investment in infrastructure.”
