RPS Gets Construction Industry Accreditation
20 August 2008 | 1 min read
Originally piloted in conjunction with the Health & Safety Executive, the industry backed scheme ‘Constructing Better Health’ will help organisations select an occupational health provider, based on their accreditation. This will provide assurance to employers selecting a provider of occupational healthcare for their workforce, through a set of industry standards for both work related health issues, and competency of healthcare provision. The scheme also aims to increase knowledge about occupational health by giving consistent advice and guidance in the management of health related risks. Employers will have much clearer information about the work-related health matters faced by their industry and will be able to select the most suitable occupational health provider for their needs.
Having been accredited by CBH in recognition that we have the organisation and skilled professionals to deliver occupational health to the construction industry, RPS is now at the forefront, and well placed to provide occupational health services to the construction industry across the UK as a result of this accreditation and our experience in the pilot.
