Helping practitioners, developers and decision-makers to understand the GHG implications of developments, the new guidance will utilise iterative design and the mitigation hierarchy in efforts to reduce GHG emissions from major developments.
This guidance has been developed by an IEMA Impact Assessment Working Group on GHG Assessment from a wide range of organisations representing leading practitioners from across the UK.
Today saw the launch of the new IEMA guide where Tom Dearing and Andrew Tasker joined a panel of working group members to present the guidance, highlighting new goals and opportunities, including where it can stretch existing practice to achieve better outcomes.
