Staying connected - readying ourselves, and our clients, for a new kind of norm

26 Mar 2020

Working with our clients to maintain the general health and wellbeing of their people, and get them back to work post COVID-19

While we are all learning to operate differently, RPS are working to make it easy for our clients and their teams to connect with us – and this means finding new ways to deliver our services.

To get people back to work faster after illness, and to ensure our clients continue to meet their statutory obligations with regards to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of their people, previously site-based health assessments can now be completed with remotely.

RPS’ occupational health team now offer a COVID-19 referral scheme which can be completed over the phone to assess your teams and relevant guidance can be provided to the employer quickly - ensuring business continuity.

And in line with guidance issued by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) on the 20 March, health surveillance and medical assessments can currently be undertaken remotely to assess your teams ongoing ‘fit for work’ status.

If you require any guidance from RPS regarding COVID-19, for example:

  1. Suitability of an employee to return to work
  2. Suitability of an employee to remain at work and any required adjustments
  3. Specific advice relating to vulnerable people within your workforce

Together we'll come through this difficult period and emerge stronger for it.
