RPS has appointed Meegan Sullivan as Chief Executive Officer - Australia Asia Pacific.
Already a member of our executive team for more than eight years, Meegan takes over from outgoing Australia Asia Pacific CEO, Ross Thompson, from Monday 25 October 2021.
After almost five years with the firm, Ross is taking on a new role as Chief Executive for ASX-listed workforce management and staffing company, PeopleIN.
Based in Melbourne, Meegan has more than 25 years’ consulting experience across transport, water, government and infrastructure projects. She has led, delivered, and advised on projects including Western Sydney Airport, Melbourne’s Level Crossing Removal Project, Sydney Desalination Plant, and countless others.
Prior to joining RPS, Meegan was a member of the executive leadership team at infrastructure-focused consultancy, Manidis Roberts for nine years, and has also held senior positions at Sydney Water.
She has taken on many roles throughout her tenure at RPS, most recently leading our 170-strong team of advisory and management consulting specialists as Executive Director - Advisory in Australasia.
In commenting on her appointment, Meegan acknowledged the deep impact that her predecessor made during his five years with RPS:
“From implementing a global rebrand to integrating new services and talent to complement our world-class development, planning, advisory, environment, and project management teams, RPS has gone from strength to strength under Ross Thompson’s leadership,” she said.
“There has never been a more exciting time to be part of the RPS story and to be selected to lead the team here in Australia Asia Pacific is an honour.
“We’re more integrated, connected, and digitally-enabled than ever before, and we are home to the most talented, passionate, and experienced consultants in the business.
“I’m looking forward to working even more closely with RPS teams right across the region to solve the problems that matter for our clients,” she concluded.
