First consultants graduate from RPS’ offshore wind training program

Elevate is an 18-month offshore wind training course with more than 30 hours of masterclasses, reading and activities, and is designed for both consultants and RPS clients.

RPS’ Offshore Wind Lead, Anna Crameri says the program has been a huge success.

“We created Elevate so we could support our people to upskill and transition to offshore wind, and help our clients achieve their project investigation and development goals. The comprehensive program covers everything from the fundamentals of offshore wind to project planning and design specifications, environmental studies and approvals, through to construction and key issues such as climate change and data capture.

“I congratulate all the graduates for their enthusiasm, perseverance, and excellent questions. Developed in-house, Elevate allowed us to share the extensive offshore wind knowledge that we have within RPS.”

Over the last 25 years, RPS has contributed to the development of more than 35 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind projects globally.

In Australia, RPS is breaking new ground in leading the approach to marine baseline surveys, regulatory approvals and communications and engagement.

More broadly, RPS’ project portfolio showcases complex multi-jurisdictional approvals for offshore wind, major infrastructure, and oil and gas projects with marine baseline components.

Anna says the Elevate program will become an ongoing feature at RPS.

“The offshore wind industry is rapidly developing, and having a bespoke internal program will allow us to continue to train our people in this space, as well as offer our clients a ready-made resource to support their projects.

“I’d like to thank the incredibly talented subject-matter and technical experts within RPS who contributed to the Elevate program and congratulate all the people who officially completed the course today.”
