We are thrilled to announce that Damian Barry, Director, has joined our Wales and West Planning team.
Damian brings over 27 years’ industry experience to RPS after holding senior roles in international multi-disciplinary consultancies, as well as early career roles in local and national government bodies.
With previous roles in landscape, environmental, tourism, commercial surveying and engineering organisations, Damian is well-equipped to lead on Planning and feasibility.
Darren Parker, Operational Director – Planning, says “I have known Damian for many years and our professional paths crossed most recently when we collaborated to realise the development potential of a client’s land portfolio.”
“He is already well connected with colleagues in the Cardiff office with whom he has also worked with in the past. His experience of planning and development within the commercial, government and transport sectors fits well alongside the residential, retail and energy client base we have.”
Damian comments: “I’m thrilled to be joining an excellent team - many of whom I’ve known for years – but equally to be joining RPS for its high regard in the marketplace, the portfolio of projects and clients, the size and skillset of the team and the pro-active and advisory spirit of my fellow Directors.”
“It's the perfect move, giving me a strong foundation to start adding value from day one, drawing on my complementary experience as well as being able to add new clients and sectors into the mix.”
