Liz Plant

Liz is a multi-disciplined experienced senior project manager with proven project management and communication skills. She has over 15 years’ experience across various fields including Defence estate and facilities development and delivery, high level stakeholder and community engagement, and urban planning.  

Liz has over 10 years’ experience as a Defence practitioner across all stages of the Defence Capability One System, including three years in Estate Planning Branch as an Assistant Director in several Directorates. As part of these roles Liz provided strategic estate planning advice for various sites including Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) and Headquarter Joint Operations Command. She developed several Gate 0 documentation and Initial Business Cases (IBCs) and Estate Base Plans for Defence infrastructure and facilities projects. Liz regularly provided facilities Subject Matter Expertise (SME) input and advice, including formal guidance, on behalf of Estate Planning Branch for projects prior to Gate 0 and First Pass. Prior to working In Estate Planning Branch worked in Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch for seven years and as a town planner in urban and regional councils in South Australia.
