Senior Marine Scientist
Dr. Claire Greenwell is a trained ornithologist and marine scientist with a PhD in Conservation Sciences. Claire specialises in seabird and shorebird ecology, monitoring design, and translating scientific evidence into practical management for coastal and offshore development, monitoring and conservation programs. Her work is focused on baseline survey design and leadership, long‑term monitoring programs, environmental impact assessment and the production of clear, defensible recommendations for regulators and industry. She Chair’s the Australian Fairy Tern National Recovery Team and works collaboratively across government, industry and with research partners to deliver measurable conservation outcomes.
