At RPS we have diversified our health and wellbeing solutions by offering clients a range of onsite and virtual services. These solutions not only provide support for your employees mental and physical health, but also help to reduce absenteeism and increase productivity within the workplace.

 

Quality of sleep, nutritional choices and long-term health conditions to name a few, can all have an impact on your employee engagement and productivity levels. In 2019, UK employees took a median of 6.4 days off sick, an increase from 5.6 days the previous year with large organisations being hit the hardest. Sickness-related absences and presenteeism are costing the UK economy £77.5 billion a year so there is no better time to start paying attention to your employees mental and physical health.

Employee health assessments

With our onsite health assessments, there are five options available, varying from 15-60 minutes appointments. Each assessment is carried out by a qualified healthcare professional and can be conducted at single or multiple sites depending on your requirements.

The assessment options look at various health aspects including a lifestyle review, blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol, while our more advanced options also include body fat %, hydration, cardiovascular risk, bowel screening and much more.

We provide an easy to use booking system, allowing your employees to book their assessment at a time that suits them and receive both email and SMS confirmation and reminders of their appointment.

Same-day employee reporting is available (plus 7-10 days for additional test results) to keep employees engaged, but also to allow them to immediately start considering where they may want to make some positive changes.

Company referral pathways, such as Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP’s) can be integrated to ensure that your employees receive the support and direction that they require.

An aggregated company report is also sent out, enabling you to identify hot spots and direct your health and wellbeing strategy to the areas that need it most.

OnDemand Bites and Webinars

Our OnDemand service provides employees with 24/7 access to key information around a number of universal health topics including sleep, nutrition and cholesterol.

Employees can access the information wherever suits them, and re-watch as many times as they like – a perfect way to engage employees across a wide geographical area, in large groups or for remote workers.

Each webinar lasts approximately 20 minutes and cover several areas that affect many of us as individuals but can also have an affect on our  performance and productivity in the workplace. 

Bites is a series of short 1-minute videos, providing quick, easy to absorb information for individuals looking to increase their knowledge around areas that could be affecting their health and wellbeing.

At RPS, our wellbeing consultants can work with you to design and plan your annual OnDemand Webinar and Bites campaign, ensuring that you get the biggest impact and engagement from your team.

Stress and Resilience 1:1’s

With 1 in 4 people in the UK suffering with mental health problems at some point in their life and 1 in 6.8 people experiencing mental health problems in the workplace, it is essential that your employees feel supported.

Evidence suggests that 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions. Our trained stress and resilience coaches are available for confidential 1:1 sessions delivered via Microsoft Teams or over the phone. These intervention style sessions allow employees to discuss specific issues or have general wellbeing conversations. They are handled with sensitivity and professionalism and aim to provide a helpful conversation with appropriate guidance and support to improve their wellbeing and current situation.
