The RPS Water Technical business is a team of Engineers, Modellers and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery.
It’s an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business as workload in the water industry really takes off. With a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements in place, we are ideally placed to help our clients deliver on the challenges facing them over the coming years - whether that is reducing leakage, pollution and flooding, or improving the environment and levels of service to their customers.
We employ around 1000 highly skilled and motivated people working on projects for all of the water and sewerage companies across the UK, and most of the water-only companies. We deliver a full range of end to end water and wastewater services including data collection and analytics; modelling and risk analysis / optimisation; data visualisation and mapping; artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions; feasibility studies; outline and detailed design of capital solutions; and development of optimised, risk based, operational interventions.

As a Water Infrastructure Design Engineer you will work within our teams delivering various technical activities over a broad clean water and wastewater project portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to budget, time and quality standards from concept through to completion.
Our Project Managers work as part of our project delivery teams and / or directly with our clients providing strong project governance on large projects or programmes of work across a range of clean water and wastewater projects. You will be responsible for managing budgets and risks to deliver projects to our clients expectations and within budget and on time.
As a Clean Water Engineer you will work within our teams supporting the delivery of various technical activities ensuring projects are delivered to budget, time and quality standards from concept through to completion .
We are looking for Clean Water Engineers to deliver a broad clean water project portfolio - we have opportunities ranging from Assistant level to more experienced skill levels.
We are looking to appoint a Technical Manager (Water Quality) to grow our water quality / hydrology modelling capability. There will be a focus on establishing the necessary skills within the team alongside business development and client engagement activities.
We are looking to appoint Senior or Principal Water Quality Modellers to lead our teams in the delivery of modelling, calibration and analytical support on a range of water quality / hydrology / wastewater projects.
