Opening hours for our laboratories over the holidays
Our laboratories will close at midday on Friday 23rd December 2022 and resume normal working hours on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
Please ensure your samples are submitted to us as soon as possible, should you require an expedited turnaround, please contact the laboratory directly and we will be happy to discuss how we can support your requirements.
Thank you for your valued custom throughout 2022, we look forward to working together to support your analytical needs in 2023.
Bedford laboratory
12th December - Standard 10-day turnaround (excluding sub-contracted analysis).
16th December - Standard 5-day turnaround (excluding sub-contracted analysis).
19th December - Last date we can arrange courier collections for delivery to the laboratory before Christmas. (Please be aware that samples will be kept in cold storage and analysed after the Christmas shutdown).
21st December - Last date media and sample containers will be despatched via courier or post before the Christmas shutdown.
22nd December - Normal working day in the laboratory, last day for local delivery collection and drop-off.
23rd December - The laboratory will close at 12 noon and reopen at 8:30am on the 3rd of January 2023. We will be accepting samples up to midday, but please note that no work will be commenced on these samples until after the Christmas shutdown.
Manchester laboratory
9th December - If you are planning to send samples beyond this date that have specific holding times, please contact the laboratory to confirm the analysis can be facilitated.
12th December - Last date to request media for delivery before the Christmas shutdown.
19th December - Last date to submit blood samples for lead analysis.
19th December - Before 11am, this is the last date we can organize courier collections for delivery to the laboratory before Christmas. (Please be aware that samples will be kept in cold storage and analysed after the Christmas shutdown).
21st December - Last date media will be despatched via courier or post before the Christmas shutdown.
22nd December - Normal working day in the laboratory, last day for local delivery collection and drop-off.
23rd December - The laboratory will close at 12 noon and reopen at 8:30am on the 3rd of January 2023.
