I knew that I wanted to do something in the sciences and geophysics sounded really cool!
Helping clients to integrate their geology and geophysics data to improve their decision making.

Speak up more, you have really good ideas!
I approach my career development with a lot of curiosity and try to keep learning new things, be it through formal training courses, talking to co-workers or attending talks/conferences.
In a resource-scarce world, the energy sector is continually searching for new ideas and perspectives and is obligated to operate as a meritocracy to keep advancing. It matters less these days who you are or where you came from, if you work hard and prove yourself you will excel.
As a kid I was always inspired by my mom. She has a fun story about pushing the envelope on women’s rights. In her 20’s she worked in a small-town office and at the time it was still customary for women to only wear dresses or skirts to work (never pants). Mom came to work one day wearing a pantsuit and convinced some of her co-workers to do the same!
In my spare time I play board games, make art, practice the banjo and hang out with my husband and kids.
