Do valuable, meaningful work

We know that the world needs to deploy many more renewables projects and that accelerating the rate of development is vital. However, as this happens, there’ll be challenges – and one of them is making sure that these projects are developed responsibly.

Renewables focussed roles at RPS give you the opportunity to get involved in the drive for net-zero. That means direct involvement in developing onshore and offshore renewable energy projects, but also in ensuring they’re developed in a sustainable, responsible way. And this isn’t just limited to senior roles – it’s a part of the job for every level.

Why join RPS

We have project managers, specialist advisors,  planners, environmental specialists, engineers, marine and terrestrial ecologists, visual impact specialists, ornithologists, UXO specialists – the list goes on.

Work in multiple markets

Across the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe

Following successful floating LiDAR campaigns in Asia Pacific and the Americas, our buoys are now being deployed across the UK and Europe to support our renewable energy clients. This work is driving the rapid growth of our broader metocean activities in the region, and in response RPS is expanding our UK based team to support turnkey metocean measurement campaigns.

This is an exciting time to join our global metocean team. Early 2022 we will be recruiting the following roles and we'd be delighted to hear from suitably qualified and enthusiastic candidates:

Proposal/tendering specialists

With the growing demand for RPS services in the region we are looking to recruit tender writing specialists with a strong client focus. A deep understanding of renewable industry standards to meet the high specifications and technical requirements is the first step to delivering successful proposals to support our clients investment in offshore wind farms for both fixed and floating assets.

Project Managers

With several recent project awards in the EAME region, we are looking to rapidly grow our project management capability. We seek candidates with experience in managing the successful delivery of metocean measurement campaigns. A commitment to working safely with detailed focus on data integrity and high-quality return is essential.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering turnkey metocean measurement campaigns and overcoming any complex logistical challenges.

Oceanographic Engineers

RPS own and operate a large assortment of oceanographic instrumentation, including our custom built metocean and floating LiDAR buoys. We operate these globally, collecting and delivering data for a wide range of clients across the energy sector.  With the increased number of measurement campaigns across the UK and Europe, and in particular to support the expansion of offshore wind, we are further increasing the number of service engineers based in the region.

Engineers will be required to prepare and test equipment onshore then deploy offshore to ensure reliable measurement campaigns are conducted safety with a high focus on data integrity. Offshore trips are typically short, but may be extended, and there is a likely requirement for overseas travel to support RPS metocean projects globally.

Associates - metocean

To complement our full-time employees, RPS is always looking to attract highly experienced specialists to support ongoing and more challenging projects. We are keen to hear from specialists who are enthusiastic to work with RPS and our clients on projects on temporary assignment.
