Steve Hall joins RPS’ Highways team

09 Feb 2021

We’re delighted to announce that Steve Hall has joined our Highways team in Newark as a Technical Director.

With over 36 years’ experience in the construction industry, Steve has worked on highways, drainage, transportation, infrastructure design and project management at a delivery, operational management and Director level.

Steve has worked for both public and private sectors within client organisations, consultancies and contractors, both office based and on site. He has managed teams of design engineers for over 30 years, working on a wide range of projects across the UK to deliver S38, S278, S104, S185 designs, tender and contract documentation, construction management, and statutory body and utility coordination.

Steve has extensive site experience, resulting in a practical and efficient approach to his design solutions. Recent projects have seen Steve provide project management and engineering consultancy services to public sector clients, developers and contractors.

Steve commented: “After a couple of years in project management, I am looking forward to returning to a design environment and working with the established Highways team in Newark along with other teams and colleagues across RPS.”

David Dunbar, Operational Director – Design, added: “It’s great to see Steve joining my team. Bringing his technical highways infrastructure and leadership experience into RPS will support our design team and really help us continue to achieve an absolute delivery focused service to our developer clients. Navigating the technical approval of highway and drainage infrastructure is becoming increasingly complex and with our growing workload in logistics development, Steve will collaborate with our utilities and civil engineering teams to make complex easy.”
