Reducing the risks of discolouration in water networks

02.08.19

Managing and reducing the risks of discolouration in water networks is a key priority for water companies. The industry needs to reduce bills, improve customer service, be more resilient and accelerate innovation - these are key drivers in our response to improving water quality.

The traditional approach to reducing water network discolouration has historically been through conventional mains cleaning and rehabilitation techniques. Working closely with our clients, RPS has developed an innovative approach to cleaning water networks using new flushing techniques to improve resilience and deliver cost savings - with minimal customer disruption, and reduced environmental impact.

Eric Hutchison, RPS Regional Director and Michael Conaboy, RPS Operations Manager, discuss an innovative approach to cleaning water networks developed by RPS here.
