RPS is delighted to have been shortlisted for the second year running in the Ground Engineering Awards. We have been nominated as a Finalist for the Ground Engineering Awards in the category ‘Ground Investigation Specialist of the Year’.
Over the past three years, RPS has established itself as a leading provider of ground investigation services in the UK. We were appointed to HS2’s Ground Investigation Framework in 2014 to help deliver the largest ground investigation ever undertaken in the UK, and since then, RPS has been the most successful framework contractor, securing 13 work packages under the framework.
Other projects of note include the proposed M4 Corridor around Newport where we delivered over £2 million of ground investigation work for the Welsh Government’s contractor (Costain Vinci Joint Venture). We have also completed a plethora of other ground investigations of varying sizes and scope across the UK in the last 12 months working within the energy, waste, residential and industrial sectors.
It has always been essential for us to balance the client’s requirement for rapid progress with the longer term need to ensure the quality of the ground investigation data is not compromised. Our willingness to be flexible and pro-active in order to achieve the aims of the complex ground investigation has always exceeded the client’s expectations.
Andy Clifton Managing Director Environment and Infrastructure said “We are delighted to be nominated ‘Ground Investigation Specialist of the Year’ Finalist for the second year in a row and believe that it reflects on RPS’ growing strength and experience in providing quality ground investigation services on major infrastructure projects around the UK such as HS2, M4CaN, A701 and A465 Heads of the Valleys schemes.”
The winners will be announced on 6th June in London in a prestigious celebration of Ground Engineering’s 10th Anniversary
