With over 30 years’ experience in environmental due diligence and sustainable advisory services, we’re delighted to welcome Colin Macdonald to RPS as Director within our Due Diligence & Sustainable Business team.
Joining our Leeds UK office from Sweco UK, Colin has previously grown a number of blue-chip investor clients and also worked with many private equity clients specifically targeting renewable energy investments.
Colin’s career successes have seen him working on large-scale infrastructure and investment projects and M&A deals for corporate and investor clients. He has headed up teams on due diligence, contaminated land, compliance and permitting for a multitude of sectors, including property, finance, energy, manufacturing and infrastructure, and has worked with the UK Ministry of Defence for over 20 years.
Jim Carlisle (Operational Director) comments: “Colin is a great addition to the business, where his experience and expertise will be of the highest value to our clients. His background has seen him lead multiple sectored teams, with a real strength in leadership skills which will only enhance our client offering in environment and sustainability.”
A past member of the Specialist in Land Condition Professional Technical Panel, Colin has also completed the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership diploma and is a Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) assessor.
Colin comments: “It’s fantastic to be at RPS - a market-leading consultancy. I’m excited to collaborate with the great wealth of expert colleagues around the company and support clients in minimising their legal, reputational and financial risk on a global scale.”
