RPS’ team of landscape architects has helped the outback community of Winton to reimagine one of it’s main streetscapes. With a design that uplifts the street while maintaining the authentic outback character for which Winton is known, Elderslie Street was recognised at the 2021 Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (AILA) Awards.
RPS has helped ARIA Property Group to reimagine the relationship between high-density apartment living and green open space in the inner-city suburb of Kangaroo Point. With a form intrinsically linked to the water, our team’s landscape design response was all about capturing views to the river while reflecting the development’s sub-tropical riverine context.

RPS played a lead role in shaping the urban oasis that is West Village − one of Brisbane’s most significant urban renewal projects. Using whimsical features to encourage through-traffic and break down barriers to entry, our work on West Village helps draw people in to experience the precinct’s growing network of laneways, eateries and event spaces.

Shaping a movement towards lush and liveable landscapes for high-density residential, our landscape architects supported Oxley + Stirling’s world-class rooftop design. Bringing in native and endemic plants selected for their low water demands and tolerance of rooftop conditions, residents can escape the city with a new take on the Australian backyard.
