National Reconciliation Week in Australia

As Australia marks National Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June 2018) RPS teams across the country have come together to acknowledge, learn and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group has developed an updated Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for submission to Reconciliation Australia–the country’s peak body for a just, equitable and reconciled nation.
Our new RAP builds on RPS’ existing Action Plan and follows Reconciliation Australia’s ‘Innovate’ framework. It outlines actions that will help us achieve our vision for reconciliation while developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging colleagues and stakeholders in reconciliation, developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
