Ray has specialist expertise in all areas of occupational health service delivery over almost a 30-year career, that includes health surveillance, absence management/rehabilitation and pension medical advice.
Ray graduated from University College Dublin in 1986 and completed his General Medical training in the UK, followed by higher specialist training in Occupational Medicine.
Ray's is a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He is also a Chartered Member of IOSH and is involved in delivering a range of occupational health activities as well as providing overall clinical leadership, advice on tenders, new start up services and doctor training within RPS. In addition, he is an RCP accredited Educational Supervisor and a SOM QAAS Appraiser and is a committee member with TOM, a group of occupational health physicians who plan and host an annual symposium in the East Midlands. His special interest is in Health Surveillance and whilst completing his MFOM, Ray published papers on biological monitoring.
