RPS’ extensive knowledge and experience in unconventional oil and gas development has been honed working on projects in the United States, Canada and Australia.
CSG has developed rapidly in Australia over the past decade, emerging as a flexible, clean and competitive source of energy in an expanding economy seeking lower pollution fuels.
RPS is currently also demonstrating leadership in policy development in relation to unconventional oil and gas management issues.
Our involvement in unconventional gas projects has been growing with the industry over the past 30 years. We are actively involved in projects in the Surat and Bowen Basins in Queensland, the Cooper Basin in central Australia, the Hunter Valley in NSW, the Perth and Canning Basins in WA, the Northern Territory and internationally in Indonesia, China, Canada and the United States.
We have steadily expanded our involvement in frontier hydrocarbon developments, including gas in extremely low permeability sands and silts, shale gas and in-situ coal and oil gasification.
