RPS has been engaged to provide a range of surveying services to support the development and upgrade of sporting facilities for the XXI Commonwealth Games.
Taking place on the Gold Coast from 4-15 April, the 2018 Games will be the biggest sporting event ever hosted outside of an Australian major capital. Some of the competition will also take place in the Queensland partner cities of Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville, with the Games estimated to add $2-4 billion to the state's economy.
In a program of works spanning several years and continuing throughout 2017, RPS' surveying experts have completed design survey works for venues including:
Belmont Shooting Complex
Anna Meares Velodrome
Cairns Convention Centre
Townsville Convention Centre
Gold Coast Hockey Centre
Broadbeach Bowls Club
Nerang Mountain Bike Trails
