    Located beside the Murray River, Albury is the second largest inland city in NSW and its 50,000+ population is expected to almost double within the next 30 years. The city is a popular residential and business base, and a major transit point for interstate commerce. Thurgoona in East Albury is growing by approximately 3.5% per annum, and, with its neighbour, Wirlinga, has been identified as a key growth area for the city. RPS’ bid was chosen over 14 other submissions to lead Albury City Council’s Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) to support the forecasted population rise.
