Training is one of the cornerstones around which effective Health, Safety and Environmental Management is built. It is essential that personnel tasked with managing these issues are suitably trained and experienced to undertake their responsibilities. RPS provides an extensive range of training courses utilising the practical experience of our consultants. Our courses cover: general health and safety awareness; health and safety awareness for office environments; health and safety for managers; fire marshal training; manual handling training; asbestos awareness - BOHS accredited training; legionella awareness; occupational noise/vibration training; environmental management; stress management; and display screen workstation assessor training.

RPS is a recognised training provider to the water industry and we supply training services to several of the major companies. We are a CABWI accredited NVQ assessment provider, offering training and assessment for our own, and clients’ staff, to gain industry recognised qualifications. Our unique water distribution and leakage management training programme and qualification is accredited by City & Guilds and led to our ‘Training Provider 2004’ accolade in the excellence in training for the water industry awards. Our tailored training courses cover: water hygiene training and assessment; network hydraulics; pressure management; network modelling; operational data collection and reporting; metering and meter maintenance; data analysis and economic level of leakage assessment.
